Rosicky struggling to be fit for the quarter-final against Portugal

Tomas Rosicky left the base in the Czech Republic, Poland to return to Prague for the treatment of Achilles tendon injury that forced the captain to lose 1-0 against Poland team.

• Czech officials say Rosicky team went to Prague with Pavel Kolar and the physiotherapist should join the team in Wroclaw on Tuesday before the European Championship quarter-final against Portugal.

Rosicky was injured in the 2-1 win against Greece last week and has not practiced since. He was fired hours before Saturday's game against Poland and its place in the midfield was for Daniel Kolar.

The Arsenal player said that only a small chance of recovering Thursday.
